Eating. Drinking. Dancing. Partying – The holidays were fun but is your body feeling the effects of it all now? To help you get back to feeling your best and get the year started off right, we’ve come up with some detox tips to get your body and skin looking and feeling beautiful!

1. Catch up on Your Zzz’s – We know with all the celebrating, sleeping patterns are definitely not regular right now. Besides feeling drowsy and lazy, signs of exhaustion may also evident in the way your skin and body appears! To restore your energy levels and get you to feeling your best again, sleep can not be sacrificed. Remember, the term “beauty sleep” doesn’t come from nowhere! With the lack of sleep and too much partying, puffy and tired eyes may be evident. Apply an eye cream, such as the Opti-Firm Eye Contour both morning and night. This will help to diminish the appearance of those lines and wrinkles and reduce puffiness around your eyes. Additionally, give your eyes extra cooling relief by using Eye Rescue Pads. Not only will these feel wonderful, but the cooling effect will also aid to bring down that puffiness! As a tip, put them in the refrigerator and apply them in the morning to cool your eyes and give them an awakening!

2. Get back on track with your diet – Between the salty, sugary and fatty foods, and alcohol that you’ve consumed, it’s time to make the switch back to normal eating and drinking! It’s no longer the holidays, so no more excuses! Salty and fatty foods, for one, are known to cause bloat, all around, even in your eye area! Instead, make the switch to antioxidant rich veggies and fruits, lean proteins, and whole grains. You’re insides will thank you. Additionally, opt for water over alcohol and sugary beverages. Alcohol can dehydrate the body, and the skin. Drink plenty of water to relieve this dehydration, and flush out those toxins and waste from the holidays!

3. Visit the spa or salon – Now may be the time more than ever to give your face and body the restoration that it needs with a trip to the salon or spa for a Repêchage treatment. New Year’s Eve and holiday parties can be a blast but bringing in the new year in your party dress from the night before and a headache is no way to start 2014.  So grab your favorite pair of I-had-too-much-champagne-last-night shades and head to the spa! –
