In the meantime, there are measures you can take to keep your skin at its best and some things you should definitely avoid at all costs:
1-Regardless of the season, the sun can still do a number on your skin. Wear sunscreen with a minimum of SPF 15 daily.
2-If no one’s told you yet, let us be the first: smoking is bad for you! It ages your skin and causes wrinkles by sucking out oxygen and nutrients that are essential for skin health.
3-We’re not, of course, suggesting you cease cleansing your skin. But choosing the best product for your skin is key; a rule of thumb is to avoid strong soaps or using hand soaps to cleanse the skin. The strong ones will strip the essential oils from your skin, so stick to a mild cleanser based on your skin type.
4-Okay, easier said than done, but try to keep your cool in day-to-day trials and tribulations. Stress can trigger breakouts and make skin more sensitive. Take preemptive steps to cut back on stress, such as time management, finding an outlet for stress relief or meditation–whatever works for you!
5-Smelling like a vanilla bean isn’t always worth it. Fragrance is one of the more common causes of skincare-related allergic reactions; if you have sensitive skin, go for unscented products to avoid agitating your skin
Following these steps along with a professional treatment and homecare regimen will ensure healthy. Glowing skin all year round!
